Villa Salsa
Villa Salsa is a beautiful vacation villa at a unique location. Enjoy your own private pool, the amazing sunset and the sea of lights from all over the island. The villa has a single floor with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
There is an additional apartment for two guests below the villa. The apartment has its own kitchenette and bathroom. This makes the villa ideal for larger families or even two families (the apartment has an extra sleeping couch).
The villa is situated in Brakkeput Abou, a neighborhood East of Willemstad's center. The large lots all have luxurious villas built on them. The neighborhood's atmosphere is quiet and comfortable and there's only local traffic. The villa is close to the Spanish Water and 5 to 10 minutes away from Jan Thiel beach and Mambo beach. Willemstad's historic city center and plenty of restaurants are no more than 10 minutes away!
The living room has an adjacent open kitchen with all the necessary features, such as a large fridge with ice cube machine, furnace, oven, microwave, blender, food processor, dish washer, toaster, water boiler, coffee maker, etc. etc.
There's a spacious lounge area with a 42 inch flatscreen LCD TV and DVD player. The satellite receiver offers stations like CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, Discovery, Disney and many others. The WiFi internet connection allows you to make free calls using Skype and enjoy broadband internet access. Outlets come in both 110 V and 220 V.
The spacious living room leads to the large porch which encircles the entire villa. This is where you get to relax in the sofas and lounge chairs or the large hammock, while you enjoy the view of your own private pool and topical garden.
The porch leads to the pool area, which has plenty of room for the beach chairs. The pool is separated from the porch by a safety gate. In addition to this, the pool has an extra shallow area for the younger guests.
The three large bedrooms and the apartment all have comfortable box spring beds and all have air conditioning units. All rooms have plenty of storage space. The large master bedroom with its french doors has direct access to the pool area.
The master bedroom has a private bathroom. All bathrooms are luxurious and modern and offer a walk-in shower, sink area and cupboards.
The washing room has a washing machine and dryer, so you can take care of your laundry if you wish to do so. There's a large laundry dryer in the garden.
The large garden (1,000 m2) surrounds the villa. It features bougainvilles that bloom all year round, just like the "french flower". There's also many fruit trees, so if you're lucky you get to pick your own bananas and limes from your own garden. Needless to say there's also an abundance of palm trees, including the famous coconut palm.
There's a large "palapa cabin" made of palm leaves in the garden with a large dining table for up to 8 guests. Next to the palapa you'll find the barbecue and a granite and bamboo preparation area. Enjoying the outdoors was never as easy as this!
Villa Salsa has been designed with children in mind. There's a play are in the garden with a swing, slide, hut, etc. As mentioned before, the pool is closed off by a gate and there's a separate shallow pool area. In the villa you will find: two children's chairs, a children's bed, toys, books, and a car seat.
