Villa Pelican
It seems like a dream when the breathtaking view over the Caribbean Sea off the coast of beautiful Curaçao appears in front of you. This dream has become reality in holiday house "Pelican" located at the coast of Jan Thiel Bay. This unique detached villa directly next to the sea has been named after the pelicans who forage in front of the coast and while passing by dive in the sea, looking for fish.Pelican is a very luxuriously built holiday villa, directly next to the sea, on roughly 1.200 square meter terrain on the secured resort Boca Gentil. This tropical holiday villa has been built in typical Antillean architecture providing coolness, comfort and space to its residents. The holiday villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. A royal accommodation for 8 persons.
The modern and fully equiped kitchen with a view of the Caribbean Sea is provided with a lot of luxurious appliances like an electrical cooker, an American double door fridge, combination oven and a regular oven, a dishwasher and lots more appliances which make cooking a relaxing affair.
The very spacious living room, with high ceilings and view of the Caribbean Sea, has been decorated to give you lots of comfort. Opposite to the beautiful sofa you'll find a TV with connection to the local television network. Here you can receive the Dutch channels 1, 2, 3 and BVN but also several American and South-American channels. From the living room you walk to the porch of 18 x 4 meters where you can relax heavenly.
Since you spend most of your time outside on Curaçao, there's a large dining table for 8 people below the porch. You can also sit down on the bar seats in front of the bar area of the kitchen. Something what makes this house completely tropical is the hatch in the kitchen which can be put open.
On another part of the porch, a cosy sitting corner was created where you can lounge or read. From this part the holiday villa offers a gorgeous view over the Caribbean Sea with alternate patrolling fast marinaships or passing by cruise or sail ships.
The holiday house has four bedrooms which are provided with luxurious box spring beds. These beds all offer generous space for two people. The four bedrooms are provided with plenty of closet space and have airconditioning for a pleasant coolness during the warm nights on Curaçao. For our smallest guests we have a cot.
The holiday villa has 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with double sink. Contiguously the 2nd bedroom also has its own bathroom, and bedroom 3 and 4 share a bathroom. This bathroom is between the bedrooms and can be reached by both of them through a "between door".
In front of the holiday villa lays a private infinity pool of 10 x 5 meters where you can take a nice swim. From the porch you just walk upon the large teak wooden pooldeck. Here you can relax or read with a refreshing drink, both in the shade as in the sun. The swimming pool area can be completely closed off for the smallest ones among us.
The following facilities are present at the villa: a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The possible daily communication with friends and/or relatives can easily be maintained through the high-speed WiFi network.
Holiday villa Pelican is situated on the secured resort Boca Gentil and is in walking distance of Jan Thiel Beach Club "Zanzibar" where you can enjoy beach, sun and sea and also delicious drinks. Also a lunch or dinner can be enjoyed there. For our lovers of watersport activities there are several opportunities such as wakeboarding, sailing, snorkling and of course scuba diving.
You find many restaurants in the surrounding area where you can enjoy a delicious meal such as Brakkeput Mei Mei, De Kleine Wereld or a pizza at Il Forno.
Of course the holiday villa has its own swimming pool and on the resort you can find a private beach just for residents. Next to this you find a lot more beaches in the area. Some examples are Jan Thiel Beach, Mambo Beach and Blue Bay.
