Villa Cas Grandi
Villa Cas Grandi is situated in the neighborhood 'Cas Grandi'. Cas Grandi ("large home") is about 15 minutes away from the center of Willemstad and roughly 30 minutes from the airport. The nearest beaches are less than 10 minutes away.All in all the villa can accommodate groups of up to 15 adults, in addition to smaller children who use a child's bed (those can be arranged for you). If this is almost large enough for your needs but not quite, please contact us so we can try and work out a solution for you.
The various rooms of the villa are divided over two buildings. The main building has, amongst other areas, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, the kitchen and a large living area. Attached to the main building is an apartment with its own entrance and bathroom.
The second building consists of an additional 2 apartments with each their own bathroom. Since these apartments have their own entrances as well, the villa as a whole is especially suited for multiple families. Everybody has their own privacy, while there are plenty of opportunities to spend time together in the shared areas.
The villa and the apartments are never rented out separately. You will always have the entire premises to yourself and will not run into any other guests.
The outside areas are very spaciously designed, as this is where you will be spending most of your time. Thanks to the villa's favorable situation, there is always a refreshing breeze which makes the outside areas fully enjoyable, even during the hottest hours of the day.
On Curaçao, people live outdoors. So this is where you will find the dining table; right in the middle of the very spacious main porch. The porch is completely covered by a roof and gives a view of the pool area and the Curaçao hills. Thanks to the refreshing breeze, the temperature on the porch is always enjoyable.
The TV room and its soft comfortable couches is an ideal spot to relax. An extensive collection of DVD's in multiple genres is provided.
The best of both worlds (half inside, half outside): meet the roofed balcony on the front side of the villa. From here you have a spectacular view of the Antillian landscape, including the Spanish Water.
The villa is equipped with a very large but most of all very luxurious kitchen. Inside, you will find everything you can wish for which you are used to at home: an oven, a microwave oven, a large stove, a large refrigerator with ice cube and ice water dispenser, a dishwasher, a toaster...
Even the automatic coffee-maker is there. In short: you'll find everything there you need for preparing your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Of course you don't need to worry about lack of plates, cutlery, pots and pans and other kitchen utensils. The heart of the kitchen has a separate preparation island so you'll never run out of space.
Eating will most likely be done outside, but in case of a quick snack there is breakfast table in the corner of the kitchen. The window there gives a view of the play equipment for the younger guests. For a genuine Antillian meal you could of course forget about the kitchen all together and just head straight for the big barbecue outside...
All bedrooms have brand new box spring beds, which will provide you with an extreme sense of comfort. Naturally clean linen is provided for you. Most bedrooms have their own luxurious bathroom. Bedrooms that share a bathroom always have their bathroom directly adjecent.
What does every private villa need? The luxury and privacy of a private pool! The pool is right next to the main porch and is designed very spaciously. The abundance of plants and trees surrounding it ensure there are always plenty of both sunny and shady areas during the entire day. Bath towels, comfortable beach chairs... everything is taken care of.
The pool has separate sections of various depths, so the younger guests can have a splash as well. As you can see on the first picture, the pool area is separated from the other outside areas with a wooden fence.
Next to the pool you will find the outside bar. The palm leaf roof makes this the perfect spot for a drink or a game of darts, even in the unlikely event of a rain shower.
